A Day at The House of Hair in LA — Hair, Art, Food & All the Vibes
This past weekend, I had the chance to attend a Family & Friends event at The House of Hair in Los Angeles—and it was everything. One of my good friends who works with the company invited me, and I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I brought along two of my co-workers (because what’s a hair event without your beauty crew?), and we had the best time. If you’re not familiar with The House of Hair, they’re all about connecting hair professionals to top-tier brands and resources. They focus on education, artistry, and building community within the industry—and that vibe was all over the event. Not only were we surrounded by our favorite hair brands (cue heart eyes 😍), but they also had the cutest setup for families. There were different activity stations like: • A bead-making station • An art station • A t-shirt tie-dye station It was such a fun and interactive touch—not just for kids, but for all the creatives in the building. And let’s talk about the FOOD. They went all out: 🍔 Wagyu smash burgers 🌭 Lunch from Pink’s Hot Dogs (yes, that Pink’s!) 🍦 Ice cream from The Creamery Boys 🍩 A churro + cotton candy cart Basically, it was a full-blown vibe. They also held some awesome raffles, and everyone walked away with an amazing swag bag packed with goodies from the brands we love. I was seriously impressed. Huge shoutout to my friend for the invite and to The House of Hair for hosting such an intentional and inspiring event. I left feeling grateful, inspired, and very well-fed 😂 Can’t wait to go back!
